GQ Magazine tapped DGFX Studio to report, design and code a custom cartography experience to support its long-form feature story "No Exit" detailing the event that led to the deaths of 19 wilderness firefighters in Yarnell, AZ.
Using original documents from the US Forest Service's investigation, DGFX crafted unique interactive experience that walked readers through the movements of the men and the progress of the fire as the tragedy unfolded. The below video approximates the experience:
